How to Use Transactions in MS Access - BeginTrans, Commit, Rollback
In relational database management systems (RDBMS), there is often a need to have groups of SQL statements executed together. This can happen for many reasons. When you use transactions, you can back out of many statements, even if prior statements in the transaction were successful.
