Wildcards are very helpful when you want to find some simple text patterns in your queries. Wildcards are helpful, but there are some different versions of the wildcards based on ANSI 89 or 92 SQL. Access supports both, so I’ll show some situations where one standard works and cases where it does not. Wildcards are a great addition to your toolbox; try them out today!
